Pirates Press Records is proud to announce the return of COCK SPARRER to San Francisco, our home town, to celebrate their 40th ANNIVERSARY as a band on March 23rd, 2012, at The Warfield Theater. To make this even sweeter, they will be sharing the party with RANCID, who themselves will be celebrating their 20th ANNIVERSARY as a band.

Debut full length from this new Boston based DIY Hardcore Punk band! Formed in December 2010 by four well-seasoned veterans of the Boston Punk and Hardcore scene with the intent of mixing their favorite elements from all the sub-genres of Punk into one aggressive and brutal yet catchy sound with a strong DIY ethic and intelligent lyrics!

Known as much for their over the top packaging and design as they are for their scathing criticisms of capitalism, New Jersey's DETOURNEMENT, once again combine these two seemingly disparate elements to create a truly unique release!
What began as merely another Clash cover song for another Clash cover tribute compilation, Detournement's take on "Know Your Rights" took on a different sense of urgency as demonstrations began to break out in Wisconsin and Ohio and as revolutions occurred in Tunisia and Egypt. Inspired by these events, the Molotov Cocktail Flexi was born, and Pirates Press Records is ecstatic to be behind this one of a kind release.
Housed in a custom-labeled glass bottle and hand-wrapped in a 14" x 14" screen-printed fuse, "Know Your Rights" is the featured track on this triple printed rolled flexi, and includes access to a digital download of the song. Only 250pcs are being assembled and all bottles are be hand-numbered.

In related news... DETOURNEMENT have announced that they will be breaking up due to "creative in-differences". They have a show planned this Wednesday (Nov.9th) at The Asbury Lanes (CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS) with The Downtown Struts and have promised one last final show in late December. SYDNEY DUCKS "Esprit de Corps"
We're happy and proud to introduce our newest installment, the Sydney Ducks! They are a band with exceedingly solid songs and lyrics that creates their own distinct sound. Featuring ex-members of AIRFIX KITS, ACEPHALIX, EMERGENCY, OUR TURN, and SUBWAY THUGS, (and Mike and Carl Pirate!) they clearly come from a wide variety of punk and hardcore backgrounds - and it shows. As does their cohesiveness! They've been filling up the common bar shows that local bands get introduced through and they've more recently established themselves supporting popular bands like THOSE UNKNOWN, YOUNG OFFENDERS, and OLD FIRM CASUALS - and their plans for the future take that even further. Their debut 7" is nearly out of print, scooped up by local fans and internet collectors alike, and this followup to it is sure to be a hit as well!!
