As a follow-up to the Record Store Day Crooked Drunken Sons 7" we released, these three songs continue to show the magic that went down in Texas back in November while the STREET DOGS enjoyed a rare break from the road to throw down some brilliant tracks in Johnny Rioux's home studio (with old friend Rick Barton, ex-DROPKICK MURPHYS).
Taking full advantage of the break, and inspired by the way these songs naturally emerged and came to life, STREET DOGS are writing and recording their fifth full-length, to be released on Pirates Press Records this fall. Rustbelt Nation is a prime example of that classic STREET DOGS sound, aggro-Americana at its best, the lasting traditions of intelligent American folk music, only with the aggression, passion and sheer "fist in the air" punk rock sentiment.

In honor of Record Store Day, Pirates Press Records, Longshot Music, Contra Records, Randale Records, Oi! The Boat Records, and Rebellion Records have teamed up to launch a year-long, weekly 7" record subscription!
All six record companies involved are contributing material for between 6-10 weeks. This series aims to highlight great bands that fans of Punk and Oi! will already know, while also introducing the base to new and upcoming bands that are destined to be future favorites of the scene. Formed in 1993 in São Paulo, Blind Pigs have become Brazil's biggest punk band, and are now releasing new music for the special occasion. The legendary streetpunk band has risen from the ashes to celebrate their 20 year friendship and devotion to the São Paulo scene, they have released a NEW 7" called Sentinal Dos Mares. Over the last 20 years, Blind Pigs have solidified themselves as frontrunners of the Oi punk scene and this new 7" shows the band has not lost a step along the way.
